Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was both a team member and the team captain for 2012's Fierce Five and the 2015 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In 2012, she was awarded gold at the team events and also the floor exercise. On the balance beam Raisman earned the bronze medal. This meant that she became the first American to compete at an Olympics with the highest medal count. In the 2016 Olympics she was awarded gold in the team event which gave her along with co-teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been one of the very first Americans to have two consecutive gold medals for the team.
