Ellie Jane Goulding is a British woman born on December 30, 1986. Her mother Tracey Goulding Summers worked in an ice cream shop and the father Arthur Goulding was a member of the family known as an undertaker. Goulding has three siblings: A sister Isabel who is older a brother Alex as well as a sister Jordan. Alex Goulding's older brother is a bass player. Also, he is an Hereford musician. She was encouraged by her mother to pursue a musical education at the age of a small girl. The clarinet was her first instrument at the age of nine. At 14, she started writing her first song, but she did not start seriously writing songs until the time she was in college.
